Girls Division Admissions Procedure

Step 1.  Application

Download and print the application from the list of documents below.  The documents are in PDF Format. If you do not have PDF Reader, you may download it here.

Step 2.  Interview

The personal interview will include the student, one or both parents, the Menahel, the Secular Studies Principal and other administrators.  Please allow 2-3 hours for the interview and testing.

For the interview, parents should bring copies of the student's report cards or transcripts fot the last two academic years (student copies are acceptable) and any other education-related testing or evaluations.

Step 3. Testing

Placement tests in selected subject areas will be given to applicants at the interview.

Step 3. Observation

During the school year, applicants and parents are welcome to observe classes on the day of the interview or by appointment.

Step 4. Acceptance

Acceptance to the Yeshiva will be based on a review of the student's school records and testing, the personal interview, and consultation with references.

Parents will be notified in writing of the student's admission status.  Upon acceptance, the Registrar will provide parents with the financial forms necessary to finalize registration.

Non-discrimination Policy: The Yeshiva of Greater Washington shall admit the students of any race, color or national origin to the rights privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school, and the school shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, or national origin in the administration of its educational policies, scholarship program, athletic program, and other school‑administered program.
