The Yeshiva of Greater Washington-Tiferes Gedaliah (YGW) hosted a gathering of almost a thousand men and women, both in-person and online, on March 24, to hear hespedim and divrei Torah remembering the life and gadlus of HaRav HaGaon Chaim Kanievsky, zt”l.

Rabbi Eli Reingold, Rosh Kollel, Kollel Zichron Amram of YGW, emceed the event. Rabbi Ahron Lopiansky, Rosh HaYeshiva of YGW, and Rabbi Sholom Kamenetsky, Rosh Yeshiva, Talmudical Yeshiva of Philadelphia, delivered the hespedim.

The Yeshiva of Greater Washington-Tiferes Gedaliah (YGW) is a community-based school on two campuses in Silver Spring, Maryland. We have separate Boys and Girls Middle and High School Programs; a Yeshivah Gedolah/College Program; a Kollel; and community-wide programming. YGW emphasizes the primacy of Torah while providing exceptional general studies instruction.
